Parex carried out the meteorological radar project to fulfill the 1% investment commitment established by the ANLA as a result of the exploration and exploitation environmental licenses granted to the Company.
The radar installed in the corregimiento of Carimagua, department of Meta, and the crisis room, built in Duitama, Boyacá, were delivered with high-tech equipment capable of issuing early warnings related to the hydro-meteorological conditions in the Colombian Orinoquía, covering five other hydrographic zones in eight departments, with greater coverage in Meta, Casanare, Arauca, and Vichada.
