Imad Mohsen

Mr. Mohsen joined Parex Resources as President & Chief Executive Officer in 2021, and is accountable for the company’s overall leadership, strategic vision and delivery of shareholder value. With 25 years of experience in senior leadership positions, he has a proven track record of leading teams to execute growth through exploration, project management excellence, stakeholder relations and financial discipline.

Prior to joining Parex, Mr. Mohsen held numerous senior leadership roles at private and public companies. Most recently, Mr. Mohsen was the Chief Executive Officer at Tulip Oil Holding B.V., a private equity backed upstream company. Under his leadership, Tulip had success with near field, short-cycle time exploration and development of gas in the challenging environment of the Dutch North Sea. Prior to Tulip, Mr. Mohsen spent 15 years at Shell where he held notable roles including Development Manager for Shell’s Subsea Gulf of Mexico assets, and the General Manager, Operations for Shell’s Egypt JV (Bapetco).

Mr. Mohsen holds an engineering degree from the Paris School of Mines. He is a former Board member of NOGEPA (Dutch E&P producers association) and Nextstep (Dutch Decommissioning E&P producers associations).

Daniel Ferreiro

Mr. Ferreiro was appointed to President & Country Manager in 2020 and is accountable for all in-country operations, with a focus on the successful execution of the company’s plan and budget.

Mr. Ferreiro has been with Parex and its predecessor, Petro Andina, for over 15 years and has over 25 years of operations and leadership experience. At Parex, Mr. Ferreiro has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility including Manager of Operations, Vice President of Operations and Senior Vice President of Operations. During this time, he played an integral role in helping the company grow its production from 0 to 60,000 barrels of oil per day over ten years and expanding its footprint across Colombia.

Prior to joining Parex, Mr. Ferreiro work at Chauvco Resources and Pioneer Natural Resources in Argentina moving from field positions in the Neuquén Province, to development and planning roles in the central office in Buenos Aires.

Mr. Ferreiro graduated from the Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires as a Petroleum Engineer.

Kenneth G. Pinsky

As the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, Mr. Pinsky is responsible for managing Parex’s financial and risk activities. He has 34 years of in-depth financial experience both in Canada and internationally. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Pinsky has held senior financial positions in the upstream oil and gas sector focusing on equity and debt financing, corporate planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, taxation, reporting and investor relations. In 2008, Mr. Pinsky joined Petro Andina, Parex’s predecessor, as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.

Previously, he was a founder, officer and board member of Argent Energy Inc., a private exploration and production company. In 2001, he joined Ultima Energy Trust as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Pinsky was the Director of Finance for the Altana Exploration Group. He began his career with Price Waterhouse in 1987 and completed assignments in the areas of audit and assurance, taxation, insolvency, corporate restructuring and corporate finance.

Mr. Pinsky graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is currently a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Eric Furlan

Mr. Furlan was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2018 and is accountable for overseeing the drilling, operations, production, reserves and development activities of the company. He has over 30 years of experience in field operations, reservoir development planning and execution and executive leadership. Prior to his current role, Mr. Furlan was the Senior Vice President of Engineering from 2017 to 2018 and the Vice President of Engineering from 2012 to 2017, where he focused on appraisal and development strategies to support production and reserves growth.

Prior to joining Parex, Mr. Furlan was the General Manager of Development in Petro Andina Resources, Parex’s predecessor, where he managed the development of the company’s fields in the Neuquén Basin of Argentina increasing operating production from zero to over 30,000 barrels of oil per day. He has also held leadership and senior technical positions with Chevron Corporation both in Canada and internationally.

Mr. Furlan graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Ryan W. Fowler

As Senior Vice President, Exploration, Mr. Fowler is accountable for identifying and securing top-tier exploration opportunities for Parex. Mr. Fowler has over 30 years of experience in exploration and production activities in Canada and internationally. Prior to his current role, Mr. Fowler was the Vice President Exploration for Parex from 2012 to 2017, and the New Ventures Exploration Manager for Petro Andina, Parex’s predecessor, from 2008 to 2012. During this time, Mr. Fowler was directly involved in Petro Andina’s entry into and Parex’s success in Colombia.

Prior to joining Petro Andina, Mr. Fowler held management positions in northern Alberta production and international new ventures at Husky Energy from 2005 to 2008. He also held various senior technical positions at Husky Energy, Canadian 88 Energy, and Rigel Oil and Gas focused on foothills and deep basin exploration in Alberta, British Columbia, the NWT, and Wyoming after starting his career as a geologist at Amoco Canada.

Mr. Fowler graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1988 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering.

Mike Kruchten

As the Senior Vice President, Capital Markets and Corporate Planning, Mr. Kruchten is responsible for Investor Relations, enterprise risk management, financial forecasting and the strategic planning functions. Prior to this role, Mr. Kruchten was Manager, Corporate Planning and Investor Relations at Petro Andina, Parex’ predecessor, from 2008 to 2009. Before joining Petro Andina, he held several financial leadership roles with BP in Calgary, Aberdeen and Dubai, and began his career as a gas economist with Union Gas (Enbridge) in 1994.

Mr. Kruchten holds a MBA from Queen’s University, a Masters in Economics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Economics degree (with honours) from Saint Francis Xavier University. He also holds the Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR) designation from the Ivey Business School (University of Western Ontario).

Josh Share

Mr. Share joined Parex in 2019 as Vice President, Corporate Services, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2021. In this role, Mr. Share oversees the Human Resources, Information Technology and Corporate Services functions. His international experience includes operations and new country entry in Canada, US, UK, Colombia, China, lreland, Senegal, Guyana and Nigeria.

Mr. Share began his HR career at Nexen, gaining experience in Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition before moving to BP Canada. Moving to BP in the US, he assumed roles of increasing responsibility across their upstream segment, becoming HR Director for Western Hemisphere. In 2014, Mr. Share returned to Nexen as General Manager, HR Business Partners, to lead strategic client relationships for a variety of functions, including Engineering & Construction, Subsurface Excellence & Technology and Drilling & Completions. Following this, he assumed the role of General Manager – Total Rewards & HR Programs, then VP, HR, Communications and Corporate Services for the integrated Nexen/CNOOC International businesses.

Mr. Share holds a Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Winnipeg.

Katie Bernard

Ms. Bernard joined Parex in 2021 as Vice President, New Ventures, leading a cross-functional team to identify and evaluate new business opportunities within and outside of Latin America. With over 29 years of industry experience, Ms. Bernard has built an extensive background in negotiating and managing upstream commercial agreements and contracts for E&P companies, including accountabilities for all relevant new business development, new ventures and commercial issues with partners, governments, and competitors.

Prior to joining Parex in 2021, Ms. Bernard held roles of increasing responsibility with Shell International Exploration & Production, where she contributed to both new business development and the communication of the overall strategic direction for RDS Group and its Upstream International business to the external community. She has also held roles with several international companies including CEPSA, Moore Stephens, and Amec.

Ms. Bernard holds a Masters of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Geography from the University College of London. In addition, Ms. Bernard holds a Non-Executive Director Diploma having completed the Pearson SRF BTEC Board Director Program.
